Yes. Every account starts on a 14-day Pro trial; if you don't confirm, on day 14 we drop you to Free with no charge. The Free plan ships 12 graphics a month, with up to 3 concepts per run and 3 series covers a month, with no time limit. Most volunteer-only churches stay on Free for the long haul, and that's fine with us.

Two reasons, both honest:

It keeps the free tier safe. Without a card on file, a single bad actor can spin up dozens of throwaway accounts to skirt monthly quotas and burn the AI generation budget that funds the free tier for everyone else. A card is the simplest, lowest-friction signal that there's a real person on the other end.

It reduces fraud. Image-generation costs us real money per call. Stolen-card signups and bot farms target this kind of system constantly; requiring a verified card upfront knocks the obvious abuse off the front step.

What you get in return: we never auto-charge. Every account starts on a 14-day Pro trial, and on day 14 we drop you to Free unless you actively continue. Your card stays put. Upgrading later is one click — no fresh checkout flow on a Saturday night.

Nothing automatic and unpleasant. We email you before the trial ends to ask whether you'd like to continue. If you don't reply or click anything, on day 14 we move your account to the Free plan and your card is never charged. Your sermons, brand settings, and exports stay with you on Free.

If you decide later that you want Pro, you can upgrade from inside the app — same card on file, no rebill drama.

Yes. Cancel from Settings → Account at any moment. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for, then drop to Free. We don't run "are you sure?" gauntlets or hide the cancel button under three menus.

The Studio plan ($49/mo) includes unlimited generations and team seats up to five. Multi-campus brand profiles are on the roadmap — for larger denominations, networks, or church-plant cohorts, write to us and we'll work out a per-campus arrangement.

No. HomilAI generates the visual side of a sermon — title slides, series art, social graphics, story / reel covers. The teaching itself is yours. We don't draft outlines, suggest theology, or "improve" your title.

Median time from "go" to a finished concept grid is 2 minutes 14 seconds. Studio plan accounts get a priority queue when traffic is heavy (Easter weekend, for example).

Five out of the box: 16:9 (stage screens), 4:3 (older projectors), 1:1 (Instagram feed), 9:16 (story / reel), and a custom W×H you can save (Pro and Studio). We're honest that custom aspect ratios are best-effort — image models don't always handle exotic shapes well, and we say so in the picker.

Not yet. All graphics are synthesized from your title and passage today. Photo-upload is on the roadmap; the most-requested use case is "drop in a service photo, generate the lower-third for it."

Not yet — direct sync is on the roadmap. In the meantime, every plan can export textless variants of any concept (the scripture-only version most ProPresenter operators want), and Pro and Studio plans can save common ProPresenter and Planning Center sizes as named presets.

No. Your titles, passages, notes, and generated graphics are yours. We don't include them in any training corpus, anonymized or otherwise. Generation calls go to our model providers under contracts that disable retention and training on our content.

In US-based object storage, encrypted at rest. They're available to your account through the Library page; deleting a sermon or your account removes them within 30 days.

Account deletion runs through support — write to privacy@homilai.com from the email on file. We do this on purpose: a self-serve "delete everything" button is easy for a hostile actor (a former volunteer, a disgruntled ex-staffer with stale credentials) to weaponize against a church. Going through support means a quick confirmation with a verified contact before we touch anything.

Once confirmed, we schedule full deletion within 30 days. Change your mind in that window and we'll restore. After 30 days, gone is gone.

Free and Pro are single-seat. Studio supports up to five seats with role-based access (admin, editor, creator, viewer). Multi-campus brand profiles are on the roadmap; for now, larger setups can write to us and we'll work something out.

Yes. They can set the church name, brand keywords (the phrases always sent to the AI — e.g. "warm, editorial, reverent, no people"), watermark, and default translation in Settings → Brand. From then on every generated graphic respects those constraints. If they leave, the brand stays with the workspace, not the user.

Email is the fastest way: support@homilai.com. Studio accounts get priority. We answer most messages within a business day, and on Saturday afternoons before Sunday — because we know what Saturday afternoons look like.
